I’m Vidushi, a twenty-one year old student of philosophy at Princeton. Traveling by train and bus to school since I was thirteen, I have grown to love learning about people through short but meaningful public conversations– some of which I record here.

I carry my sketchbook wherever I travel, and my art explores moments of personal immediacy within crowds of people. My art and writing works together to communicate the connections that bring strangers from different communities and walks of life together.

I enjoy drawing connections between seemingly-disparate parts of my life–both academic and personal. Existentialism, Buddhism, and the 1950’s Beat movement. The politics of budgets and taxes and The Big Short. Encounters between me, an Indian-American immigrant, and retired Jewish fireman, Brazilian hostel staff, aspiring Polish pianists, and more.
